My thoughts:
"Multivitaminsaft" began as a spontaneous burst of creativity one evening when my brother Jan and I were casually jamming. We stumbled upon a catchy melody and a few playful lines, and from there, the idea was born. What started as a fun songwriting session soon turned into a full-fledged project when Aaron Buchner and I, as The Nitelife, took it to the next level. To add even more flavor, we brought in Felix Reitberger, a talented local rapper and lyricist. Together, our writing sessions resulted in the final verses, and I decided to take on a rap part under the the name MC Granini.
The song itself is a mix of humor, bold metaphors, and addictive energy, comparing love and attraction to the refreshing taste of multivitamin juice. We poured a lot of heart into every sound choice and even slipped in some cheeky jokes to keep things light. Once the track was ready, we knew we had to create a music video that matched its colorful, playful vibe.
Originally, we had planned a larger production, but after failing to secure sponsors due to the explicit lyrics, we made a spontaneous decision during a vacation in Greece. With summer outfits, bikes, and of course, plenty of multivitamin juice bottles, we shot the entire video on a hill near Teublitz at sunset—finishing it all in just three hours. The footage captured the carefree, fun energy we wanted, and I spent two weeks turning it into a dynamic music video, along with some social media reels and quirky teasers.
"Multivitaminsaft" is a refreshing and fun project, blending modern production, humor, and undeniable earworm potential. It’s a testament to how creative collaboration and a bit of spontaneity can lead to something juicy and unforgettable.
