My thoughts:
"See" is a song that draws you in like the depths of a lake, complete with lurking mysteries beneath its surface. To Isa Fischer, the lead vocalist, the lake symbolizes the depths of a relationship—the deeper you get to know each other, the more secrets you uncover.
I had the privilege of directing the music video for this track. Together with the brilliant Lukas Reinker, we crafted a concept that emphasized a mystical forest and a captivating lake to match the song's haunting vibes. A particularly memorable challenge was hauling a bathtub to a clearing and filling it with hot water from massive canisters—a testament to our commitment to bring our artistic vision to life. My role extended from filming and editing the video to devising a unique 'Making Of' concept. One of my favorite creative touches was incorporating an old retro TV into the forest scenery, which displayed behind-the-scenes clips while Isa shared insights about the song and its creation.
