My thoughts:
AI is a fascinating playground for me. As a filmmaker, I explore the endless possibilities of combining real-world footage with AI-generated content in my projects. I find joy in experimenting with inputs to shape breathtaking art that merges reality with imagination. With boundless opportunities for learning and discovery, I'm passionate about showcasing how technology empowers artistic expression and unlocks the future of visual storytelling
ACHROMA  - DEAD END -  AI REEL
For my friends in the band Achroma, I produced an AI reel. I invited the lead singer to my studio and had him perform a portion of the song on a bench against a white background. I then scaled down the bench and generated over fifty different scenes around him. Afterward, I put everything together in After Effects and added effects. My favorite is the spinning washing machine in the laundromat. The rhythm of that part of the song worked perfectly for quick and slower scene changes.
Enjoy! 🎸🐠🎤
MAYA RELAXING - INFINITY REEL
I loved the autumn scenery that unfolded before me on the terrace of the Eichmühle. Maya lay in the bright orange-red leaves, basking in the sunshine after a few dreary rainy days. As she lay there, I was captivated by the thought of creating a zoom-out reel that, despite the windy conditions, would transform the edges of the scene into a different setting than the one before me. At the same time, I found it amusing that I was capturing everything on my phone, so I played with the smartphone element to achieve a seamless infinity zoom.

A few hours later, with some sound design and a chill beat, I had this result. See for yourselves!

ZOOM MAL RAUS - INFINITY REEL
On a rainy evening, when world-weariness and melancholy caught up with me, my thoughts drifted far from my room in front of my computer. I grabbed my phone, filmed myself on my desk chair, and began feeding wild ideas into the AI. What if my room were inside a massive skyscraper in an American metropolis, buzzing with noise, chaos, and yellow taxis? But this scene was just an image on a painting hanging in a gallery? ...
I continued to spin my thoughts until I imagined my beloved grandma lying in paradise, reading a newspaper where she could watch me in my imagined world. I sent my first draft to a good friend, who, in an hour and a half, delivered a mind-blowing text and rapped it over a lo-fi beat the next day.

So, if you're ever feeling down, zoom out and think of the beautiful things that make you happy.

I love you, Grandma.

DEAD END - AI CANVAS
For the song 'Dead End' by the band 'Achroma,' I designed a neon-style subway station and added pulsing lights and smoke. I used Dalle 4, Photoshop, and After Effects for this. The reel has been used as the canvas for the song on Spotify.
