My thoughts:
For Achroma's music video, we dove into the world of retro style. As the director and producer, and also working behind the camera, I was able to bring a vision that had been in my mind for a long time to life. I particularly enjoyed the creative post-production process, where I could transform the footage into the final video I had envisioned.
The set was distinguished by its picturesque backgrounds and the use of floral elements, which together created a captivating aesthetic. One of the highlights of the video was the scene with 50 double-sided Polaroids printed with purple smoke designs, which were hung on nylon threads. We dramatically showcased these with purple smoke to symbolize the fleeting nature of promises and intentions, a central theme of the song's lyrics. The final result is not just a visual representation of the song but also a personal triumph, showcasing how artistic visions can turn into reality.
